Event description
Join us each month for advice and support to help make people use informed choices and to use their cyber skills in a legal way.

About this event

We would like to extend an invitation to educators, school administrators, STEM Ambassadors, safeguarding and welfare officers as we will be hosting a number of informal virtual information sessions throughout 2021. Please share this offer within your faculties and professional circles to encourage others to join in the conversation.

NOTE: Due to the nature of discussion, our event lists will be monitored to ensure the audience is appropriate, so please use an official school or organisation e-mail when registering to avoid any disappointment.

Some common questions that we can help answer on the day are:

  • Do you know what constitutes a cyber crime under the Computer Misuse Act?
  • How can you identify if a young person is at risk of getting into cyber crime?
  • What are some positive pathways that are available to encourage the use of their talent for good?
  • What ethical cyber career options are available to young people?
  • How do you seek support from the Regional Cyber Crime Unit?

If you have any questions please email: cyberchoices@west-midlands.pnn.police.uk
