Cyber Leadership Round Table Discussion
This one day workshop will bring together regional leaders to explore the strategic and leadership issues regarding cyber security in the modern public services landscape. The facilitated workshop will see the delegates working in teams to use their combined expertise to explore the way the digital landscape is changing for the public sector, what is driving those changes, significant areas of uncertainty and how cyber security underpins this environment. The day will be interjected with provocative talks from a range of leaders in the field to provoke further debate and thinking.
The workshop will produce a report from the gathered information which will help to enforce policy. It is hoped that by fully understanding cyber security in the public sector future activity and policy will be much more effective.
Before the day:
The workshop structure will be based around the intuitive logics model. This requires an understanding of the key driving forces within the digital public sector landscape and identifying the most important entities driving change. Therefore, the workshop each participant will be asked to complete a short online survey to identify 10 driving forces and 10 entities involved in the fraud constellation.
Driving forces: Are forces that influence and change the landscape, such as the level of regulation. Care is taken to define these forces without a direction, such as an increase in regulation as we will need to consider what happens if each direction can happen. Each driving force will need a title and a short description and they should be considered across a range of areas. Typically the PESTLE (Political, Economic, Social, Technology, Legal and Environmental) framework is used to help create a broad set of driving forces.
Each delegate will be provided with a copy of their responses for use during the workshop on the day.
What's on the Agenda?
