Data Collection Purpose, Contractual/Legal Basis, and Legitimate Interests of NetDiligence
From a contractual and legal perspective, NetDiligence grants you attendance at the London Summit and authorized use of our Services in exchange for set compensation to NetDiligence (as paid by you directly, and/or on your behalf by a third-party licensor) and your affirmative consent to NetDiligence collection and use of certain limited personal/business-contact data (“Attendee Data”) that you provide in the course of registering for the London Summit and in using our Services.

As a citizen of the United Kingdom or any member state of the European Union, you have an uncontestable right to petition the Data Protection Authority (“DPA”) in your jurisdiction in the event that you have a privacy compliance complaint against NetDiligence – although we certainly hope that you will come to us first so that we can resolve your complaint without necessitating your DPA’s involvement. That having been said, we submit to the authority of your DPA in the governance of our business activities within your jurisdiction.
What Data
Through our relationship with our Data Processor vendor Eventbrite, we collect and associate with your account Attendee Data that includes your name, business e-mail address, business phone number, your organisational title/role, and your physical business address. Some of our services let you access your Cyber Risk Summit mobile app account, which is provided to us by our Data Processor vendor Cvent, the creator of DoubleDutch event management software (see: https://www.cvent.com/en/cvent-global-privacy-policy).
We collect information related to how you use the Services, including actions you take in your account. This helps us provide you with improved features over time.
Who Receives Your Data
We may share information as discussed below, but we won't sell it to advertisers or other third parties beyond those listed below:
Our Attendee Data for the London Summit is provided to our Sponsors on a limited per-use basis as a contractual obligation of NetDiligence within their Sponsorship Agreement(s). Sponsors are granted limited per-use access to the London Summit mailing list as valuable consideration for their Sponsorship fee(s).
As noted above, Attendee Data is also provided to Data Processor Cvent to facilitate the necessary features within our Cyber Risk Summit in London mobile app.
NetDiligence also uses certain trusted third parties (for example, providers of customer support and IT services) to help us provide, improve, protect, and promote our Services. These third parties will access your information only to perform tasks on our behalf in compliance with this Privacy Notice, and we'll remain responsible for their handling of your information per our instructions.
We may disclose your information to third parties if we determine that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to (a) comply with the law; (b) protect any person from death or serious bodily injury; (c) prevent fraud or abuse of any NetDiligence Service or our users; or (d) protect NetDiligence's intellectual property rights (and/or those of our supporting partners).

How We Secure Your Data
We have a team dedicated to keeping your information secure and testing for vulnerabilities on our systems. Existence of Automated Decision Making or Profiling Regarding Your Data
NetDiligence does not – as of the current date of this Privacy Notice – utilize advanced data analytics capabilities within the Eventbrite, DoubleDutch, or our own production platforms that would allow us to automatically profile you or your organisation, your underlying interests, or make automated decisions regarding your access to the Services. We do collect usage data in application-level logs that permit us to diagnose problems, determine if your account is in active use, and may utilize de-identified use statistics in aggregated form to help us make decisions regarding present or future features deployments.
Changes
If we are involved in a reorganisation, merger, acquisition or sale of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that deal. We will notify you (for example, via a message to the email address associated with your account) of any such deal and outline your choices in that event.
We may revise this Privacy Notice from time to time, and will post the most current version on our website. If a revision meaningfully reduces your rights, we will notify you.
