Are you concerned about your children’s safety in an increasingly online world?
Children in Northern Ireland are delighted to be partnering with the PSNI in delivering FREE online safety training for parents in venues all across the country in March 2017.
Technology and on-line facilities are a fact of modern life and are useful and increasingly necessary. This workshop will explore the risks to children from on-line activity and how we can protect children and enable them to protect themselves.
It will cover, among other things, the following:
- Social Media Risks
- Innappropriate & illegal material
- Online Grooming
Doors 6pm for 6:30pm start. Tea & Coffee will be served on arrival.
NB: The training is aimed at parents and there will be content that is unsuitable for children, therefore only over 18's will be admitted.

Children in Northern Ireland (CiNI) is the regional umbrella body for the children’s sector and has in the region of 150 community, voluntary and statutory members working directly with children and their families. The organisation is focused on being at the forefront of policy, training, information and participation support to the sector, and in doing so can contribute towards children and young people achieving better outcomes.
