We are very excited about our next networking event – Cyber Security for the Railway Industry. We will be using this session to raise of the issues and challenges faced by the sector in relation to cyber security and data management.
We are delighted to confirm the following speakers, with more to be announced:
· Peter Gibbons, Network Rail’s Professional Head of Cyber Security
· The Transport Sector Lead for the National Security Centre (part of GCHQ)
· Robin Bloomfield of Adelard LLP
· Alex Cowan, CEO, RazorSecure
· Anthony Butler, Delphinitum
· John Easton, Birmingham University
This event will also incorporate a panel session, chaired by Birmingham University. As such this event will be a crucial opportunity for the delegation as a whole to inform and be informed on the topic, as part of an exceptional group of cyber security experts.
This event is relevant to Rail Alliance member companies with an interest in Cyber Security, Information Assurance and/or Asset Management. This is a natural continuation from February’s event that considered the importance of data as an asset management tool, but this session will dig deeper and debate the ramifications of the data capture and fundamentally how this data is protected, exploited and implemented.
This topic is so key that we, like our colleagues in other trade bodies, place great importance on this topic and as such we expect that this session will book up very quickly. Given the breadth of content and the number of speakers, this event will start at the slightly earlier time of 0915, concluding mid-afternoon.
