Cyber Security: Threat assessment and Reduction
Tue 25 April 2017, 10:00 – 14:00 BST
Join DigiCatYorks and the Yorkshire Cyber Security Cluster for a session on how to spot potential cybersecurity risks to your business and sharpen your skills on how to reduce the risk.
DigiCatYorks is excited to be partnering with the Yorkshire Cyber Security Cluster to bring you this one day event targeted at SMEs on critical cyber threats to businesses and practical guidance how to reduce the risk.
According to a report published by Juniper Research, almost 3 quarters (74%) of UK SMEs think they're safe from cyber-attack, despite half of them admitting having suffered a data breach.
The research found that 86% of SMEs surveyed think they are doing enough to counter the effects of cyber security attacks despite 50% reporting a data breach, two-thirds in the last year.
Join us to hear from cybersecurity experts on how you can assess and reduce the risks to your business. There will be a panel session at the end giving you an opportunity to share any experiences you may have had and to ask our experts any questions.
