About this event
Gavin Saunders is a graduate of Queen Mary & Westfield University London, gaining an honours degree in Aeronautics & Avionics. Gavin then spent the next 12 years working in private sector in various roles including Financial Investigations. In 2007 Gavin joined Essex Police, initially as a vetting unit supervisor before moving to a project officer role involved in many policing systems. In 2014 Gavin changed roles to that of a Criminal Intelligence Analyst working in areas such as Serious Organised Crime (SOC), Serious Economic Crime (SEC), OCG’s and Gangs, in 2018 Gavin then became a specialised communications data analyst before moving to the Cyber Prevent & Protect Role in 2021. Gavin is a Member of the Institute of Cyber Digital Investigation Professionals (ICDIP), and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Information Security (CIISec).
