Description

This is one of a series of Fully Funded workshops from FOCUS DIGITAL.

If you are a Start-Up or SME based within the following areas: Black Country, Coventry & Warwickshire, Greater Birmingham and Solihull or The Marches, and would like to know more about cyber security and how it can help your business - Coventry University Enterprises Business Solutions are offering you the chance to attend a Fully Funded day workshop (6 hours), with the option of an extra 6 hours of one to one support for your business.

The workshop is a full day of 6 hours with refreshments and lunch provided. You are asked to arrive promptly at 0900 for registration ready for an 0930 start.

Stories of organisations exposing customers’ information to cyber threats continue to create headlines in the media, as well as the cyber criminals targeting companies’ data, money and knowledge assets. It is becoming increasingly important for organisations to not only maintain robust cyber security measures, but to also demonstrate this to clients.

This one-day workshop will provide an overview of the prevailing threats to the digital security of small businesses, as well as providing guidance on strategies for prevention and protection, and the importance of building digital strategy into core business processes.

The workshop will also provide details of the national accreditation scheme, Cyber Essentials, and guidance on how to self-assess and obtain certification.

DATA PROTECTION: This workshop is provided free to you if you meet the eligibility criteria. We will keep all information you provide confidential and treat it in accordance with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1988.
