Event description

Dynamo North East, in partnership with Accenture, are delighted to be hosting a one-day business event, #CyberNorth, as part of the wider #CyberFest programme throughout September.

The aim of #CyberFest is to raise awareness of the North east as a place to address cyber resilience; to get people engaged in the Dynamo work stream; educate and inform of the threats and opportunities from cyber.

This event is free to attend and is open to all employees, as well as directors, managers of any size organisation, 3rd sector, public, private, academia, students, entrepreneurs, politicians, media and interested public.

There will be 3 sessions in the morning repeated again in the afternoon to allow you to attend more than one that are of interest.

Game of Threats

Get involved in the head-to-head digital game that simulates the experience of executives when their company is targeted by a cyber attack.

Resilience - sponsored by Waterstons

We need to think of cyber as part of a wider resilience agenda, in the same way that flood prevention, energy availability and home security are considered.

Cyber offers enormous opportunity for new businesses and jobs. How can we combine the strengths of business to promote the North East's capability.
