Cybersecurity Course for Residents

As the influence of the digital world and the internet grows around us, we can sometimes feel overwhelmed by the sheer amount of jargon and phrases associated with technology - especially when it comes to online threats.

This course will provide you with a working knowledge of common online threats and how to protect yourself against them. You will also learn about password management and safe online practices.

The course is suitable for any Rushcliffe resident aged 18+ who would like to gain a better understanding of online threats and develop confidence using technology and the internet.

Learners will need to bring their own device (laptop and/or phone) where possible, as we will not have devices to loan out on the day.

This training is only available to Rushcliffe residents. If you are a business, we are running a separate cybersecurity course specifically aimed at businesses.

Please note that repeated non-attendance may result in ineligibility for registration to future training events.
