Topic Description: As businesses become ever more reliant on customer data, the need to keep that information safe and secure increases. Topic: GDPR the deadline approaches - what should we be focused on?

As the deadline for compliance with the incoming General Data Protection Regulation approaches, many businesses have still not yet implemented a strategic plan of action. According to a survey made by UK firm Blake Morgan, nine out of ten businesses are still not ready, and some have not even started their journey.

The strict level of compliance demanded by the EU in terms of data governance, regulatory compliance and information security must be adhered to by businesses if they want to avoid fines and other sanctions. So what’s needed to meet the deadline ?
