Please join us as we share learning from the ‘Responding to Offending in Residential Childcare - Next Steps’ project and celebrate the Special Commendation for Policy Development received by the project at the Howard League Community Awards 2018.
Since 2017 the Centre for Youth & Criminal (CYCJ) and the Scottish Throughcare and Aftercare Forum (Staf) have worked in partnership with a range of local and national partners on the ‘Responding to Offending in Residential Childcare - Next Steps’ project. As this project draws to a close, we are holding an evening seminar to showcase the journey the project has been on and the key learning gained over the last two years.
The event will include speakers from Aberlour, Care Visions, Renfrewshire Council, Police Scotland, CYCJ and Staf, and organisations who have participated in each of the strands of the project: local improvement methodology work; national activities; and wider knowledge exchange and practice support.
There will be opportunity for further debate and discussion during a panel session.
A drinks reception will follow the seminar.
