Description
This is Cyclenation and Cycling UK's annual campaigners' conference, being held this year by Push Bikes in Birmingham.

10:30am - Welcome and panel discussion: Everyone is a campaigner.

11:20am - 11:30am - Introductions to the workshops
11:30am - 11:40am - Short break
Workshop sessions, with a lunch break from 12:30pm to 1:30pm. There will be several rooms for the workshops, some of the workshops will take place twice:
11:40am - 12:30pm / (lunch break from 12:30pm to 1:30pm) / 1:30pm - 2:20pm / 2:30pm - 3:20pm / 3:40pm - 4:30pm

(5) Chris Lowe (facilitator), Push Bikes - Working with councillors & officers - common mistakes and how to avoid them (We will have some officers & councillors in the meeting to take part in the discussion)
(6) Catherine Watton - Taking back our streets from the car; Lessons from Waltham Forest about what works for Low Traffic Neighbourhoods?
(7) Chris Kenyon, Labour Cycles - Working with political parties; Lessons from Labour Cycles (once only).

Infrastructure Safari - Birmingham's cycle superhighway: A38 Birmingham city centre to Selly Oak route.
This will happen twice: 11:30am to 12:30pm; 2:30pm to 3:30pm

There are Brompton Hire bikes in Birmingham (details here). Unfortunately, Birmingham's cycle hire scheme has been delayed until the new year. We won't be providing bikes to borrow, so please arrange a bicycle beforehand.
