CyNam 22.1: Ecosystems, Collaboration and Partnership

*PLEASE NOTE- Networking will take place at the venue both before the main event and after. The timings for this is as followed: 5:00pm- 6:00pm (before the event) and again after from 7:30pm - 9:00pm. Free parking is available for attendees, however this is based on a first come first serve basis. Please ask a member of the CyNam team for a car park pass that will grant you free access. The event will also be recorded for on-demand availability, however it will not be live streamed.

We're thrilled to bring you our our first headline event of 2022, CyNam 22.1! In collaboration with IBM, we will discuss the importance of an ecosystem approach to catalysing and commercialising innovation. Building on takeaways from our recent immersion in the Helsinki start-up scene, we will look at examples of innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystems from across the UK as we seek to understand what we can learn from others. We will explore the principles on which successful ecosystems operate and provide you, the CyNam community, with the opportunity to input into and shape this.

Join us at Pittville Pump Room on 10th March for this live in-person event and see first hand the talent and innovation that is happening within our own ecosystem and wider.

We have an epic line up for 22.1 which includes appearances and sessions from the following....

• Opening Keynote Talk- Focusing on the importance of ecosystems to drive innovation and inclusion, the esteemed Priya Guha will be setting the scene during her opening keynote talk

• Ecosystem Join Up Panel Session- Our panellists from across the nation will explore the principles of strong entrepreneurial ecosystems in an interactive audience panel. This session's line up features: David Board from IBM, Katie Muldoon from Yellowrattle Coaching, Monika Radclyffe from Plexal and James Gavin from MOD.

• Innovation Ecosystems in Action- Hear from our event sponsors IBM and 3 start-up companies from their networks in quick fire TED style talks. This session's line up features: Pimloc, Telicent and Whitespace

• NCSC Ecosystem Panel Session-Chaired by Plexal, this panel session will include alumni companies from the Gloucestershire and Northern ecosystem, who will discuss how their ecosystem has helped the journey and development of their start-up companies. Companies include Black Dice and Nettoken

• Student showcase- For our 22.1 student showcase, we will be joined by our brilliant host Illyana from Hub 8 and 5 apprentices from Gloucestershire who have all been nominated by the public as inspirational apprentices in the region. Apprentices companies include: Sopra Steria, Coacto, Atkins, Hub8 and Cyber Security Associates
