Description

Cynefin – “It describes that relationship: the place of your birth and of your upbringing, the environment in which you live and to which you are naturally acclimatised.” Kyffin Williams

Mae cymdeithas fodern ar daith i ailddarganfod cymuned ac i werthfawrogi'r amgylchedd y mae'n byw ynddo. Mae hyn yn fwy gwir nag erioed yng Nghymru - gwlad a chanddi hunaniaeth Geltaidd gref, gwlad sy'n arwain y ffordd wrth ailddarganfod ei chysylltiad â’r dirwedd a'r hyn y mae bod yn Gymry yn ei olygu. Mae pobl Cymru yn edrych fwyfwy o fewn ei ffiniau am gyfle a ffyniant, yn enwedig drwy ddefnyddio'r adnoddau naturiol sy'n amgylchynu ei chymunedau.

Ond y cwestiwn sy’n wynebu'r gymuned hon yw sut i gynnal yr adnoddau a chael budd ohonynt, heb golli'r hyn sy'n eu gwneud mor arbennig, a gwella'r Gymru yr ydym yn ei charu ar gyfer cenedlaethau'r dyfodol.

Mae Cynefin: Am Dro i’r Coed yn awyddus i edrych ar sut y gall cymunedau lleol, partneriaid a rhanddeiliaid gyflawni a chyfrannu at y cydbwysedd hwnnw mewn dull cydweithredol sy'n canolbwyntio ar y gymuned.

Modern society is on a journey to rediscover community and value the environment in which it lives. This is no truer than in Wales - a country with a strong, Celtic identity, and a country that is leading the way in rediscovering its attachment to the landscape and what it means to be Welsh. Increasingly, the people of Wales are looking within it’s borders for opportunity and prosperity, particularly by using the natural resources surrounding its communities.

But the question this community is faced with, is how to maintain and benefit from the resources, without losing what makes it so special, and enhancing the Wales we love for future generations.

Cynefin: Into the Woods, wants to look at how local communities, partners and stakeholders can achieve and contribute to that balance in a cooperative and community focussed approach.

There will be a guided walk through one of our trails with one of our Forest Rangers, interspersed with interactive and exciting workshops led by a range of experts from various areas within the environmental sector.
