CYP IAPT Hackathon: Prototype Showcase & Funding Pitch
On Friday, 23 September 2016, 6-8.30 pm, the London and South East CYP IAPT Learning Collaborative, along with the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families and Founders & Coders, will host the final funding workshop for the Hackathon. This evening event marks the end of prototype development and of the inital user-testing phase.
The CYP IAPT Hackathon is a development-accelerator platform for digital product ideas generated from across the children and young people’s mental health system, from young people, parents and carers, and from professionals. The platform could be used to develop product ideas for funding via the Hackathon, or for developing a prototype for an existing business case, or funded project.
Incorporating the user feedback captured over the previous week into a development roadmap, the product leads will present their prototype back to the panel in a bid to secure funding for the next stage of open-source product development. A number of products will be awarded development time from a dedicated team of software developers from Founders & Coders, and a highly skilled and experienced supervisor.
Come along to see the great products produced during the Hackathon and to witness first hand some examples of digital innovation within the children and young peoples' mental health sector. You will have the chance to vote for your favourite product and this will help the panel decide the final winners.
Pizza will be availble at 6.30 pm - if you don't register to attend, we might not have enough pizza!
