Are you interested in networking with researchers, parent carer forum and clinicians with a focus on CYP Neurodisability and Mental Health?

About this event

ARC KSS will be holding a CYP and Neurodiversity, neurodevelopmental conditions, SEND and mental health Community of Research Practice on 26th September 2022 from 10am-4pm at the University of Sussex.

The aim of this event is to focus on potential research areas of interest, enable networking, showcase innovation, build research capacity and establish potential research collaboration across Kent, Surrey and Sussex. It will focus on children and young people and neurodisability, neurodevelopmental conditions, mental health and special educational needs.

We are keen to welcome you whether you are currently research active, or would like to get involved/find out more, whatever your profession (e.g. academic, teacher, health professional, commissioner, social worker, researcher or voluntary/community sector, parent and community forum).

There are several areas of interest to focus on during the community of practice. For example ARFID, autism service delivery and intervention, acquired brain injury, dysphagia in relation to cerebral palsy and similar conditions, learning disability, ADHD, use of digital technologies therapeutically and diagnostically etc. We aim to break out into smaller groups for much of the day to allow networking of people with shared areas of interest and build research collaboration and identify research ideas.

We hope you can make it and we welcome you to share this event with your networks. Please note that tickets are limited and will be offered on a first come, first served basis and we will hold a waiting list.
