Description

The Mayor of London’s Young Londoner’s Fund Round Two Information session

The Young Londoner’s Fund was set up to help children and young people from 10 to 21 fulfil their potential, particularly those at risk of getting caught up in crime. The Fund supports projects covering education, sport, cultural and other activities and is open to all working with children and young people… this includes, for example, voluntary sector organisations, schools, sports clubs, faith groups and churches, youth clubs, scouts, guides etc. Projects can also be run by, and in conjunction with, statutory organisations.

Three year funding is available in three funding tiers, small £10,000-£30,000 p.a. (Max. £90,000 over three years), medium £30,000-50,000 p.a. (Max £150,000 over three years) and Large £50,000-£500,000 p.a. (Max. £4.5m over three years). Your annual grant must not be more than 50% of the annual turnover for your organisation.

To qualify to apply your organisation must be legally constituted, you must have a proven track record in the work your organisation does, expertise/experience in delivering the kind of work your proposal entails and you should have, or commit to working towards, The London Youth Quality Mark & Project Oracle Validation Standard 1.

To enable you to decide whether this is a grant you may wish to apply for, the full detail of what is involved will be covered by this ‘Round Two Information Session’.

You will also have the opportunity to hear from a local applicant, successful in the first round, who will discuss their experience of the grants application system as well as the nature of the project that they are running.
