Dacorum’s Den 2018 and Dacorum Business Awards Launch Lunch

We are thrilled to invite you to the launch of Dacorum’s Den and the Dacorum Business Awards which celebrate the achievements of local businesses.

Dacorum’s Den is our business grant scheme, based on the popular TV show, which gives budding local entrepreneurs the chance to apply for up to £1,000 to grow and develop a business idea.

Since it was launched in 2011, £60,000 has been invested in business growth and 42 new jobs created. In July 2017, the panel of judges gave seven businesses £1,000 and a further two businesses £2,000.

Organised by Dacorum Borough Council, and supported by local sponsors, the scheme helps Dacorum-based companies with fewer than 20 employees and who turn over less than £1million per year.

The new Dacorum Business Awards will showcase the best businesses in the borough which, alongside the Dacorum’s Den, will provide you with two fantastic opportunities to promote your business and to be involved in shaping the future of business in Dacorum.
