Event description

Description

What is it? And is it for me?

This is a great chance to get away from the craziness of family and working life and really think about what it means to be a Dad with a bunch of like-minded blokes.

Maybe you are new to fatherhood, maybe you have young kids and haven’t had time to think for a while or maybe you just want some fresh air, some good company, a pint and some perspective.

Either way, this walk is designed to create the space and setting for your to have some quality chat about being a Dad with some other guys who are trying to figure out the fatherhood game.

Don’t worry, we won’t be maxing out the candles and going all hippy and soul searching on you.

Our intention is to create a light-hearted but meaningful conversation about being a Dad and how we might all get a bit better at it. Oh, and to get some fresh air too.

Level up your Dad game, get some fresh air and a good lunch.

This walk will be facilitated by Matt Hall, founder of Organic Man, a coaching company for good men who want to be great Dads.
Matt will create and facilitate a great series of discussion points designed to really get you thinking and acting in the way that you want to. Think boardroom team workshop, but on a topic that will really make a difference to your life, without the hard seats, endless powerpoint and cheap coffee.
We’ll stop for a lunch at a great local pub (at additional personal expense) and have some time to reflect, but before finishing the walk with some clear actions around what we are going to do when we get back into family life.
This walk will be great fun and great value.
Walking, talking and thinking in the company of a small group of like-minded blokes helps sharpen your perspective and strengthen your resolve.

Where is the start/finish point? Where can I park?

We will be starting/finishing at Berkhamsted Railway Station at 09:30 (trains arrive there from Euston at 09:10 and 09:23). We’ll return to Berkhamsted at around 16:00. Parking is available at Berkhamsted Station and at the nearby long stay car park in St Johns Well Lane HP4 1HA.
