About this Event
Due to Government lockdown restrictions, we are having to cancel our Pathfinder events until lockdown has been lifted.
As a separated parent, you can end up feeling quite lonely when you are away from your own children. DU thought we would come up with a regular event for the many separated parents that unfortunately don't have much access to their own children. We want to give separated parents the opportunity to meet other adults in similar situations in a laid back environment, to have a bit of down time amongst good company.
For the parents only, this sociable walk will start at Perry Court Farm in Wye, outside of the cafe at 9.30am where bacon butties and a cuppa will be served upon arrival. There is plenty of parking available.
At 10am, we will guide you on a country walk, come rain or shine incorporating the Wye Farmers Market. Hot soup will also be available to consume whilst taking in the view from the Wye Crown. We will have small groups of up to 6 people including DU representatives and should the demand be there, we can arrange additional groups to leave at staggered times. Should we have a 2nd group, this will be listed separately to book in for the later time, once the first group is at capacity.
Please wear appropriate footwear and outer clothing for rough terrain/ muddy conditions.
Please confirm your attendance so that we can ensure there is enough food ordered for the group size. Also, if you have any allergies or are vegan/vegetarian, please email at least 48 hours in advance of the session to frances@dadsunltd.org.uk so that we can ensure your requirements are met.
Hand sanitiser will be available to use. Should you have been in contact with anyone who has tested positive for Coronavirus within the last 14 days, please do not attend. Likewise, should you have any Covid related symptoms, please do not attend. Please would you notify us accordingly.
We look forward to seeing you there!
