What tunes will we be playing?

Fin will pick sets from the existing Far North Repertoire and send audios and manuscripts out ahead of time for learning/revising. We will play these through altogether on the day.

Will Jamie be accompanying us all day?

No - Jamie will join us after lunch to accompany us on his piano.

I have never been before and don't know the Far North Repertoire. Does that matter?

Not at all - you are very welcome. You will have all the manuscripts and audio files sent out ahead of time to familiarise yourself with the tunes. We don't expect you to have learned them perfectly though.

Why is it free to register?

Eventbrite charge a commission on every ticket so we avoid putting this on you by collecting payment after booking when we are running small retreats.

How fast is faster pace?

It all depends who signs up for the event but we would aim to play at a regular session speed for this day.

I'm not a piper - can I still come along?

Absolutely! We love it when other musicians join us. Just be aware that you'll likely be outnumbered by smallpipe players..
