Osman Rashid - (May 19th 1994) is a British born Artist of Cypriot Turkish ethnicity who works with a variety of media, most of his work including painting, drawing, sculpting, photography and other art forms are mostly primary artworks.
Most of Osman’s art is inspired by his own imagination, although he researches and looks at other artists and their work he still gains his ideas from his own experiences and environment, and is able to express himself in any art form.
The artists that he admires and enjoys the most are Gustav Klimt, Salvador Dali, his former tutor Ben Woodeson and famous director, animator and artist Tim Burton.
Osmans work has been exhibited several times, first piece exhibted 2009 at the south bank, the sculpture gallery when he was fourteen.
He Graduated at St Joseph’s college, went to Carshalton College for 3 years but studied Art and Design level 1 and 3 for two years and Creative Media level 2 for one year, then he went to Lesoco (Lewisham and Southwark College) for one year studying Art and Design Foundation level 3.he is Presently taking a gap year prior to starting University to further his studies in 2015.
