Description

To celebrate the publication of his latest book, Crusaders, Dan Jones is curating a series of intimate evenings in conversation with historians who have shaped his work over the last 20 years. Across three nights at Waterstones’ flagship store, Dan will be joined by three of Britain’s most eminent historical writers and broadcasters, to discuss their work, their influences and their collaborations and reflect on the place of history in the world today.

Dan will be in conversation with historian and BBC broadcaster, Helen Castor. As well as presenting BBC Radio 4’s Making History and She-Wolves on BBC Four, Helen has penned Blood and Roses and She-Wolves: The Women Who Ruled England Before Elizabeth.

Curating and presenting the evening is award-winning and bestselling author, historian and journalist Dan Jones. Best known for The Plantagenets, The Wars of the Roses and The Templars, Dan’s latest book, Crusaders, tells the story of the Crusaders with the pace of a historical thriller.
