BAFTA award-winning, disabled-led organisation TripleC is bringing the next DANC (Disabled Artists Networking Community) networking event to Scotland.

The event will be held at The Bridges, BBC Scotland on Monday 3rd June from 3pm - 6pm.
Doors will open at 2pm for registration, security and networking.

About the event

This event will bring together Scotland-based deaf, disabled and/or neurodivergent (DDN) creatives with a range of screen industry guests, for networking and panel discussion. It’s a chance for DDN creatives to network with each other and for the industry to meet on and off screen talent at all career levels.

About TripleC DANC

TripleC sits centrally between DDN creatives and the screen and arts industries. Launched in 2018, DANC events offer a space for networking and building new relationships, exploring solutions to barriers that exist and celebrating the brilliant work that’s already happening.

About Driving Change

TripleC, in collaboration with Sara Harkins, have been awarded funding by Screen Scotland to undertake a year-long programme which seeks to support DDN talent across Scotland. We have brought together a DDN Steering Group to advise us on the programme of work.

The programme's aim is to drive change towards access and inclusion in Scotland’s screen industry and increase the employment and representation of DDN talent. The work will be based on TripleC’s groundbreaking initiative DANC which has been incredibly successful at progressing DDN talent and creating employment opportunities.

We are delighted to have secured the funding and look forward to working with emerging and established DDN talent, production companies, broadcasters/streamers and training providers across the breadth of Scotland in the coming year and are looking forward to our first Scottish networking event.

The event will be BSL interpreted.
