Dance: Getting from A to B
Description
Hawk Dance Theatre (HDT) take audiences on an entertaining adventure around library spaces, looking at choices and decisions we face in our lives, the highs, the lows and everything in between! Performed to original poetry by Louise Fazackerley and original music by Richard Smithson, performers lead audiences between bookcases, weaving our unique stories into one volume.
Dance and poetry align as HDT visit key chapters of life; excitement, decision making, change, loneliness, and success! Audiences follow the performers through a labyrinth of bookcases and spaces within the Library allowing audiences to see the Library in new and exciting ways!
This performance is accessible for audiences of all ages and all walks of life. Louise Fazackerley’s original poem Getting from A to B uses rhythms, honesty and fun to entice audiences into a new world of storytelling, whilst the music captivates us and transforms the Library into a magical new world!
