Dance ‘n’ Twirl Workshops

Come and join me SS Dance & Well-being's monthly dance and baton twirling workshops ...

Open to all dancers aged from 6 years old upto seniors who are interested in strengthening their dance and baton technique.

Dinkies (Tots), Tinies, Juniors & Seniors - Dance… Perform… Make new friends… Learn new skills…

SS Dance & Wellbeing is excited to take dancers through a range of dance styles and help them to improve on their dance abilities and technique. The dance workshops will include:

• Urban Dance Warm-ups & Stretching
• Jazz & Contemporary Dance Technique
• POM Dance Combinations
• Baton Twirling

Sophie will be leading the workshops and coaching all the dancers through a range of different dance styles, having over 25 years of experience in dance and teaching, these workshops will be extremely beneficial. The main focus obviously will be to have FUN but alongside this each dancer will focus on individual expression and creativity in a supportive environment. The workshops will be a great way to compliment current dance training if dancers are already a member of a dance academy, troupe or team.

2025 DANCE ‘n’ TWIRL Workshops will take place on the following dates:

Saturday 20th December @ Chickenley Community Centre - 10AM - 12:30PM

2026 DANCE ‘n’ TWIRL Workshops will take place on the following dates:

Saturday 24th January @ Havercroft & Ryhill Sports Centre, Wakefield - 11AM - 2PM

Saturday 21st February @ Venue TBC

Saturday 28th March @ Venue TBC

How to book

Parents booking - please enter your child’s name with age in brackets along with the rest of your details including active email address.

The cost to attend DANCE 'n' TWIRL Workshops is currently £5 per session - This will increase to £6.50 in 2026. Once you receive your booking confirmation text the number in your email to receive the payment details.

For each workshop there will be 25 - 30 spaces available, your place will not be confirmed until your payment has been received. Please only book spaces if you can attend. If you do not manage to secure a place there will be a waiting list and if any cancellations do occur dancers will be added to the workshop in the order that they appear on the list.
