Dance through the Deck-ades for MNDA
Come join us for a groovy night of dancing at Northwood Cricket Club!
Dust off your dancing shoes and get ready to boogie through the decades to support the Motor Neurone Disease Association (Isle of Wight). Each hour will be full of tunes starting with the experimental sounds of the 60's, moving through the funky, punky, glam of the 70's and ending with new wave, synth and electro 80's. Whatever is your groove DJ's Miss Chelle, Tintin (feat. Snowy) and Dizzy will ensure there will be something for everyone to enjoy. Let's dance our way to raising funds, and awareness of this devastating disease. There will be the opportunity to enter the raffle and a chance to win a hand crafted guitar built by the talented Carl Blenkinsop, a very good friend of David Baker, from the Island who was diagnosed with MND in July 2023. Carl is generously donating this hollow body, 6 string guitar that comes with a pair of Jazzmaster pick ups in support of his friend and musical influence David. David and his wife Alice are adamant that, despite his diagnosis, they will live their best lives.
