About this event

Spirituality • Unaffiliated

What would it be like for dancing to be a sacred act of care? Amid all that is happening in the world and in our lives, the bits we celebrate and the bits we grieve, here is a space where simply moving becomes a form of prayer, a sacred offering of breath, body, and intention that may touch hearts and lives in ways we may not even be aware of. This event, hosted by Cheltenham Spiritualist Church, is a taster suitable for all - come as you are with what is in your heart for a participatory session in which we are invited to explore how dance and embodiment may be a radical act of love. This session may lead to future sessions running more regularly in Cheltenham - come and support the seeding of something new! All are welcome. We will be accompanied by soulful live music. The session is held by Matthew Heyse-Moore with support from Morag Allen. You can find out more about Matthew here: www.matthewheysemoore.com
