Will we be learning dance routines?
No way. It’s all about you, your way. It’s not about imposing routines, it’s about giving you the opportunity to make your own version of the steps so that the emphasis is on your personal development and growth.
Does it matter that I think I can’t dance?
I have created a way of working with movement to dispel all this 'I can’t dance' stuff. If you can walk, you’ve already covered the majority of what’s required for the workshop. Next requirement: that you are open to fun, playfulness and laughter! My workshops use movement as a tool to build confidence, to trust oneself, to let go of inhibitions and limitations. It’s ALWAYS about personal growth!
What to wear?
I have often been asked, do I need to wear a leotard? Ha ha, Flash Dance here we come! No, simply comfortable clothes that allow you to move freely.
What's on your feet?
Certainly not dance shoes, trainers or soft comfortable shoes will do.
