Who is it for?

Anyone over the age of 18 who wants to come and get lost in some music and have a dance - regardless of music preference or dance style. It's not a social event while the music is playing, so you don't have to come with someone else or worry about what others are. It's about you enjoying the music!

What should I bring?

Wear something comfortable and easy to move in. You are encouraged to bring a bottle of water to keep hydrated, although there will be water available in the hall.

Is there parking available?

There is limited parking available outside the church/hall. Please try and use public transport/sustainable transport options where possible. Bikes can be stored inside the venue.

What's the deal?

Accepted Answer

When you arrive, find a space in the hall where you are happy. Zoe will do a quick welcome and then get the music playing. The lights will be dimmed, but there will be enough light to see. When the music starts, move and dance however you want in the space. The playlist runs for about 45-50 minutes.

Do I have to dance with other people?

Accepted Answer

No, this is a time to dance independently in the company of other people. It isn't a social event while the music is on - dance now, talk after! It's a chance to lose yourself in the music, not about technique or being a 'good dancer'.
