Are you a Dancing on Ice fan? Ever wondered how it all works behind the screen and wanted to see for yourself? We have been given an exclusive opportunity by ITV to go to the Dancing on Ice studios and get rink-side seats to watch a live dress rehearsal!

These tickets have been gifted to us, to pass onto our wonderful Wish Families and will be chaperoned by some Rays of Sunshine staff members.

Location - ITV Studios, Bovingdon Airfield, Chesham Rd, Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, HP3 OGH

Running time - The show is due to last around 1.5 hours from approximately 3.00pm to 4.30pm. We have been advised this can sometimes change on the day by 30 mins or so either side, so we need to be a little bit flexible with timings on the day!

Here's the expected running order:

14:15 - 14:50 Arrival / Check in

14:50 - 15:00 Entry into the ITV Studio

15:00 - 16:30 Watch the Dress Rehearsal

16:30 Depart

Catering - No refreshments are included in the tickets, so please factor this into your plans. We have been asked that all families bring bottled water with them.

Getting There - We recommend you travel by car as the venue is somewhat remote - being at the end of a disused airstrip! There is ample parking onsite. Otherwise, the nearest train station to Bovingdon Airfield is Hemel Hempstead and the bus lines which stop near Bovingdon Airfield are no. 1 and no. 352. (The nearest bus stop to Bovingdon Airfield is Hmp Staff Quarters, Bovingdon. It’s a 7 min walk away).

Wheelchair users - The ice rink seats are fully accessible for wheelchair users.

Bags - Bags are to be limited to essentials on the day and bag searches may take place.

Clothing - We recommend bringing plenty of warm clothes in case the venue is cold during the performance. You'll be close to the ice rink so come prepared.

Photography - By attending, you are agreeing to any photography which may take place throughout the event by Rays of Sunshine, the organisers and our partners. This may be used to promote Rays of Sunshine and the work we do.
