Dancing with Parkinson’s in Practice

An evening event led by Danielle Teale Dance, in partnership with National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, focussed on artistic engagement within the hospital environment, the developing practice of dancing with Parkinson’s and the insights discovered through a recent collaborative programme. Hear from artists, physiotherapists, dancers with Parkinson’s and guest speaker Alison Williams about their experiences and plans for future artistic and research partnerships.

The symposium is offered as one of a series of events to kick off the Mark Morris Dance Group’s seven-week UK tour of Pepperland. This tour, produced by Dance Consortium, will include Dance for Parkinson’s-related activities throughout the country.
