About this event

Dance to enchanting music with the runes inspired by a (more recent than traditional) magical practice . Connecting to the elder Futhark runes through movement and channeling that energy in alignment with your intention and for the community.

we will invite in the gods and spirits of the Northern Traditon, and cosy up to stiory and rememberence.

This time of year is the harvest time before the autumn equinox, it's time to collect our resources that will keep us strong through the winter months.

More than ever our world needs light and healing , and a way to do that is to connect to our creative selves. Allow yourself to tune in and parts of cour soul to guide you.

please let me know of any questions /allergies / accommodations

Frequently asked questions

What do I need to bring?

Just your beautiful self , a bottle of water is advised with appropriate weather gear, and if you would like to offer food/drink and offerings to spirit/deity you are very welcome to. You may also bring a journal if it is useful and a blanket/pillow for comfort.

I have no dance experience/ I can’t dance

No dance experience needed. This is for YOU and your spirit. Your body will move in a way that your body wishes to, there are no strict rules on how that is achieved. Everyone is encouraged to be their authentic selves and show up as they are where they are at.

I am not Norse pagan or a witch ..can I still join?

Of course ! All that is asked of you is that you show up with an open heart and mind, be respectful of all who attend including the environment.

I’m nervous about new people, I don’t like touching/ holding hands etc

As a neurodivergent person myself I understand . This is a non contact style of dance with come dances adjusted to accommodate this . Those who attend are kindly asked to respect everyone’s personal space including their own.

What do I need to wear?

Ideally comfortable clothes you can move in, while also feeling your most expressive self. Attire is typically less formal due to the nature of the ritual but that does not mean you can’t enjoy yourself if dressing up helps you get into the ritual mindset. be mindful of your comfort and safety
