About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

Passion Play is an event about turning neurodivergent joy into performance art experiences.

Daniel Oliver is a dyspraxic performance artist and lecturer who likes to think and write about the ways being a neurodivergent person and being a performance artist are connected. He has been exploring this idea with students and colleagues on Access All Area’s Performance Making Diploma at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama – one of the world’s leading courses for and by learning disabled and autistic artists.

Join us on Friday 1 August at 7pm for an evening of performances from Access All Areas artists Bruno De Ceita Pedro, Jacob Dean, Claire Dunbar, and George Webb. The event will open with an introductory speech from Daniel Oliver about neurodivergency, learning disability and Live Art, and will conclude with an open discussion on the themes, images, actions, and ideas presented. The performances will be presented in a relaxed set-up and refreshments will be provided.

Passion Play is funded through RCSSD’s knowledge exchange funding.
