DANSOX INAUGURAL SUMMER SCHOOL
ALASTAIR MACAULAY, former Chief Dance Critic at the New York Times, leads this three-day event.
Guest lectures by Alastair Macaulay on Petipa, Balanchine, Cunningham.
Seminars on dance history and theory with leading dance scholars.
Unique lecture demonstrations on technical and choreographic practice led by Susie Crow and Jennifer Jackson, formerly of the Royal Ballet, as well as Richard Alston on the influence of Cunningham on his work.
Unique showing of Lynne Wake's film on Béjart and Queen.
All are welcome. You don't have to be able to dance to come and watch, learn, and join discussions! Come for a day or two, or for the whole three days. Coffee and lunch provided for ticket holders.
To celebrate the inauguration of this special event, DANSOX is offering one-off specially discounted tickets: £15.00 daily ticket, £30.00 for a three-day ticket (see programme below). Booking essential via Eventbrite.
