The D'Arcy Thompson Zoology Museum is a treasure trove of natural history specimens from across the globe, many of them collected by the University's first Professor of Biology, D'Arcy Wentworth Thompson.
The museum is open every Friday afternoon during June, July and August. Once you've booked for a particular day, you can come along at any time during our opening hours (2-4.30pm).
Please enter by the main front door of the Carnelley Building (a big wooden door), facing the back of the Tower Building. By the inner door you may need to press the buzzer on the left for entry, then ask at reception (immediately to your left on entering) for directions to the museum.
Please note that there are steps up to the front door. A step-free route is available but please let us know in advance that you're coming so we can let you in by that route - email museum@dundee.ac.uk or call 01382 384310 before 1.30pm on the day of your visit. We apologise for any inconvenience.
