About this event

The D'Arcy Thompson Zoology Museum is a treasure trove of natural history specimens from across the globe, many of them collected by the University's first Professor of Biology, D'Arcy Wentworth Thompson.

The museum is open on the second Saturday of every month. Although booking is not essential, it would help us maintain COVID safety if you could book your visit in advance. Once you've booked for a particular day, you can come along at any time during our opening hours (2-4.30pm).

Please note that we are operating under strict COVID safety rules. Do not attend if you have any symptoms of COVID-19. You must wear a mask in the building unless medically exempt. The museum operates a 1 metre social distancing policy but the rest of the Carnelley Building is maintaining a 2 metre policy, so please keep your distance from others while walking through the corridors. Unfortunately the toilets in the building are not currently in use except for emergencies.

Please contact us on museum@dundee.ac.uk or 01382 384310 if you have any queries or concerns.
