Description

Game Changers Networking Event, Thursday 21st September, 5pm to 7pm, Concourse, NEC (@EGX)

Abertay University would like to invite you to a networking, drinks reception on the afternoon of Thursday 21st, at NEC (during EGX).

We are inviting our games alumni and other industry professionals to say, “thank you” for being part of 20 years of successful games courses at Abertay University. Attend and network with industry professionals over some drinks and nibbles. This reception forms part of a celebration of 20 years of games courses.

Abertay University was the first to launch a games degree course back in 1997 and over the last 20 years we have been proud to see out graduates go on to successful careers in the games industry. Whilst many graduates have forged careers around the globe many also went on to form their own games studios in the UK.

Our graduates have gone on to work in organisations such as Rockstar, Ubisoft, Epic Games, Tag Games, Rocksteady Studios, Naughty Dog, Framestore VR Studio, Microsoft and many more.

We would like to celebrate with you and invite you to meet some of your peers at this event. We hope you can make it.

Hear from Jess Hider a Abertay University Games graduate who is now working at Epic Games and also Luke Savage from Sony who has been supporting Dare projects and students.

We will be attending EGX with 33 of our best games students who are competing in the prestigious Dare Academy contest. Attend and get a chance to meet these guys. In addition, please visit them on their stand in the Rezzed Area at the show.
