‘Dawn’

Improvised organ accompaniment to the silent film Dawn (1928) - a dramatisation of the life and execution of Edith Cavell, the nurse in WW1 who while based in Belgium helped British PoWs to escape. She was executed by the Germans to much international outrage at the time, and in this film is played by Sybil Thorndike.
