Join podcaster Keith Wallis (aka The Piskie Trap) as he explores a range of dark tales and traditions from all around the Cornish coast. From stories of smugglers, phantoms and shipwrecks, to fantastical creatures lurking beneath the waves. Keith will be delving into a mix of folk tales from locations around the Cornish coastline, how they’re linked to the darker side of history here in Cornwall, and our local storytelling traditions and customs.

Keith Wallis is host of The Piskie Trap, a podcast series exploring the folklore, history and legends from across Cornwall. His recent work has involved a number of collaborations with leading historians, writers, folklorists and storytellers, as part of a movement to preserve local folklore traditions, and to promote Cornish history and heritage.

This lecture is taking place in person and online.
