Join us for our exclusive electronic dance night on Wednesday 21 December, from 7.30pm – 11.30pm.
Darlo-Ho-Ho is a yuletide celebration of the emerging electronic scene in Darlington, brought to you by Tracks in association with Jukebox (a night promoting electro music every Thursday at Avalon), Distinct Darlington and Rocket Town Brewing Co.
Within the carnivalesque, theatre of opulence that is the Darlington Spiegeltent, you'll be treated to a circuit board driven musical extravaganza, on a stage illuminated by Christmas lights and projections of your favourite black and white festive films. Featuring six acts all playing a variety of different styles from 80’s inspired synth-pop to retro chiptune and gothic disco, in a diverse showcase of what can be done when you swap guitars for keys, Korgs and Kaoss pads.
The Black Sheep Frederick Dickens - Dickensian darkwave
Solomon Golomb - 8-bit dance music
There There - Lo-fi indie pop
Delorean Is Not Ok - Synth poetry
Ronald Raygun - Experimental groovy electro
...And to make sure the dancing never stops Alternate Perspective will be performing glitch-hop and new funk DJ sets in between the acts throughout the night.
*PLEASE NOTE - all tickets are non-refundable and can also be bought on the door and via The Dolphin Centre (Horsemarket, Darlington, DL1 5RP) - subject to availability*
