Join us for an unforgettable night of music at the Temple of Art & Music as London-based singer-songwriter Darren Mason celebrates the launch of his new Live Album. Expect a powerful performance blending poetic lyricism, eclectic influences, and genre-bending sounds, alongside a lineup of inspiring guest artists.

About Darren Mason

Darren Mason is a contemporary singer-songwriter, producer, and educator from London. His music blends trip hop, hip hop, rock, and rebellion into pop-influenced forms that explore love, society, and the tension between them.

Performing with his band, Darren will showcase material from his new project, released as a Live Album with accompanying videos. His 2023 independent album Hope + Fury established his unique fusion of songcraft, rap, tuba, and keys. Darren has performed widely, including at the Lambeth Country Show and Copeland Park with the Peckham Chamber Orchestra (PCO).

🌟 Special Guests

James Rees (jamesreesmusic.com)A singer-songwriter, producer, and educator whose DIY ethos shines through his lo-fi debut EP Normal People (2023), recorded entirely on cassette. James has released six singles and an EP via his label Broken Leg Records, played Glastonbury 2023 & 2024, and was a founding member of London band Pynch, supporting The Libertines and working with producers Dan Carey and Gordon Raphael.

Benji Jeffrey (benjijeffrey.com/music)A queer artist and performer from Halifax, now London-based, whose work moves fluidly between music, drag, video, and performance. A self-styled popstar and multidisciplinary creator, Benji blurs high and low culture while exploring themes of identity and appearance. Darren first met him through the Peckham Chamber Orchestra, where his creativity and energy were unforgettable.

Blodé Prens (Instagram)A Haitian artist based in London whose music blends Ayisyen influences with reggae, acoustic sounds, and songs of love. With his guitar and soulful voice, Blodé brings stories of emotion, struggle, and redemption, evoking visions of a more beautiful world. Darren first met him at open mics and festivals in Brixton and Camberwell, and they have shared stages across South London ever since.
