Matthew Tilt & Sons at The Embankment / Dartmouth Food Festival Special
For one night only, The Embankment Bistro is proud to host a unique family collaboration between Matt, Josh and Charlie Tilt.
Matt Tilt has been at the heart of South Devon dining for decades. As chef-patron of the much-loved Rodean Restaurant in Kenton, Matt built a reputation for refined, ingredient-led cooking, championing local produce long before it was fashionable. Rodean became known as a destination for quality and warmth - a place where craft met comfort, and every guest felt like family.
Now, for the first time, Matt joins his sons Josh (Group Chef at The Holland Group) and Charlie (bartender and cocktail creator, Copperwood Cocktails) for a one-night takeover. Together, they’ll create a 5-course tasting menu with paired cocktails and wines - combining Matt’s classical roots, Josh’s modern coastal bistro style, and Charlie’s inventive drinks.
There will be an optional drinks flight for £45 that can be decided on the evening.
This is more than a menu: it’s a story of heritage, hospitality and generations of Tilt passion, told through food and drink on the waterfront.
