Dartmouth Park Talks - It's all about the soil
Monday, 18 May 2015 from 19:45 to 21:30 (BST)
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
It's all about the soil...
- Soil is the life-blood of our gardens and UK agriculture:
- The source of nutrients and minerals that allow our plants and food systems to thrive: One of our most precious resources surely? So why can us local gardeners oft be heard claiming to struggle against our soil?
- New UN research claims that as a result of intensive, monocultural agricultural systems and overgrazing, we only have 60 years of farming left. While we must protest at the way agribusiness treats this precious asset, we can also take matters into our own hands and tend to the soil in our own back yards.
- Come and join us at a Dartmouth Park Talk, in which we will celebrate our soil and debate what we can do to improve and protect it.
