Engine warmly invites darts teams to take part in a unique competition at The Whitworth on 12th May 2016.

We are looking for established North West pub teams to compete alongside teams from Manchester and Salford’s creative and cultural communities. Although this is a fun event that forms a part of the city-wide Manchester After Hours 2016 programme, there are serious cash prizes. The winning team will receive £500 and the runner up receives £250.

With a bar supplied by Manchester brewery, JW Lees, the evening will see all the usual darts match spectacle with a real sense of occasion in the Grand Hall of the Whitworth Art Gallery. The dart boards will be mounted on three specially-commissioned oches created by four of Manchester’s leading artists.

There is great deal of excitement and anticipation around this event and teams are advised to book their entries early (due to limited registration). Teams wanting to participate must register on Eventbrite. Entry fee is £20 per team.

Teams must consist of 5 players.
The competition will run along the 501 ‘Best of 3’ format.
