University of Suffolk is proud to invite you to the opening of the Daryl Goodrich exhibition at the Waterfront Gallery on the 5 October at 18.00.
From the 17 year old design student at Suffolk College to one of the most influential and prolific sports film directors in the world, Daryl Goodrich’s story is one of the metamorphosis of a determined young creative talent to an international award winning director.
Daryl’s awards include Best Director at
the New York Film Festival and the IVCA, and the Judges’ Award from the Royal Television Society for his contribution to sports television. He has been credited with being one of the top ten most influential people in securing the 2012 Olympic games for London with the films ‘Sport at Heart’ and ‘Inspiration’.
Commissions have included directing the world television feeds for Athens 2004 and Vancouver 2010, and making the Sochi 2014 winning bid film and for Qatar’s right to stage the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
