Dash in the Dark Isle of Wight - 5k
On your marks, get slow, GLOW! Join Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance for a 5k night-time fun run at the Royal Isle of Wight County Showground on Saturday 4th October. What you get: Each participant will receive a free Dash in the Dark T-shirt to wear, a runner number and will collect a glow in the dark medal at the finish line!
Type of Walk: Circular
Pace of Walk: Gentle - This will be dependent on the walker's ability.
Walk grade: Easy - Mainly flat walking, on paths with good surfaces. No stiles, none or few steps. Distance up to 5k.
After Party: The fun doesn’t have to stop at the finish line! You and your friends and family can join in and celebrate your achievement at a Silent Disco. Tickets are £5 and that covers the cost to hire your headset.
Fundraising: Set up your fundraising page and ask your friends and family to sponsor you. We recommend setting your fundraising goal at £60. All money raised from this event will help Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance continue their life-saving work.
