"Can data science fix the gender gap?"

The gender gap, especially with regards to salaries is a fact. This presentation walks audience through some of the available datasets about situation of women on the labor market in Europe, with the focus on IT, and analyzes the problem using classic methods of data analysis. I would like to show how using the data science the stereotypes can be proven wrong and challenge the common belief that gender pay gap is driven only by the fact that women statistically choose more often than man lower-paid jobs and that certain types of jobs are preferred by them.
