This is the first in a series of events held by Computer Futures new data group, Data Points!

Luca Boschin the Co-founder of LogoGrab.

  • Passionate about finding market fit for emerging technologies.
  • LogoGrab is an image recognition API, which is focused on logo and mark detection.
  • Clients include eBay, Sprinklr, Brandwatch, TVeyes for Counterfeit Detection, Social Media Monitoring, Sponsorship Monitoring and Visual Data Monetization.

Alessandra Sala, Head of Analytics Research at Nokia Bell Labs.

  • Alessandra manages four analytics reserach groups worldwide and has over 10 years of experience in research and innovation with both academic and industry experience; focuisng on advanced analytics, AI based atuomation of cloud applications and more.
  • The recipient of the ITP Innovator of the Year 2017, Alessandra's case study will look at Data Analytics and AI used in Sailing.

Stephen Oman, Director of Data Anaytics at Travelport Digital.

  • The focus of Stephen's work is analytsing the behavior of travellers throughout the lifecycle of their trips, in order to enhance the traveller experience.
  • Stephen holds a reaserch M.Scin Artificial Intelligence from trinity College Dublin.
  • His talk will look at 'Data Science in your Enterprise'.
